The slots will be in a 1-to-1 private format, will be scheduled in parallel with all experts, and will allow PhD students to get advice on narrow as well as wider-scope questions related to their studies and their scientific career. The overall session will last for 80 minutes, including a 5-minute introduction and 5 sessions of exactly 15 minutes – strict time-keeping will be enforced!

In order to apply for PhD Mentoring @ QoMEX 2018, applicants have to fill in a form with a few personal details, a scientific CV (pdf document with 2 pages max), as well as a list of max. 4 questions they would like to be addressed in the mentoring slot(s). The questions are considered as a starting point for the mentoring discussion, but do not need to be strictly followed in the discussion. Each PhD student can apply for a maximum of 3 slots with different experts.
